Gallery Acadie is the studio presence  of Acadian artist, illustrator, writer and activist Bryan Theriot. The work and creations at Gallery Acadie are focused on the preservation of the Acadian culture and heritage in Southwest Louisiana.  Gallery Acadie serves as a physical and digital source to promote the Cajun language, Cajun music, Cajun culture and to foster relationships between Louisiana and other French regions.

The Gallery Acadie studio and shop resides in the original Bourque's Bar in the small  town of Scott, Louisiana. The building was a saloon for most of it's life and also housed the world famous Cajun artist Floyd Sonnier for close to two decades.  The Building is perfect for live Cajun music and plays host to several French tables where the local French can be heard spoken over coffee or a game of dominos.

Gallery Acadie also works with the organization Breizh Amerika which facilitates relationships between Brittany and the United States.  A special bond exist between Brittany and the Acadians of Louisiana and Gallery Acadie is proud to take the lead in creating a long lasting relationship with Bretagne which is the ancestral homeland of many Acadians.

We are here to work together to preserve Cajun culture and ensure a Cajun future. Together let us help you find your heritage!
